Are you an immigrant in Finland, wanting to learn Swedish?
You can study full or part time with us! Our language courses consist of 20 to 25 lessons per week during a nine months period from August to May.
is a course for beginners. The aim is for the students to reach a language competence equivalent to level A1-2 of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
course requires a basic knowledge of Swedish. It aims the student to reach the level B1-2 of The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
We can also help you to participate in the national language proficiency test for adults. The test is arranged simultaneously nationwide and in Porvoo it takes place at Edupoli Adult Education Centre. The basic level equals to the levels A1 and A2 while the level II equals to levels the B1 and B2 of the European Framework. A passed level II test meets the language proficiency requirements for Finnish citizenship. The test assesses participant's oral and written language skills.
